We are now one month busy with the VLCD and you told me that your blood sugar went to normal values after two weeks. Excellent! With metformin your fasting blood sugar was 7,3 to high and now with VLCD between 4 - 5

You also told me the you lost 9 kg but only the last days it start show. Your conclusion was that you lost internal fat, and you are right. You lost the fat in your liver and that is the reason that your fasting blood sugar went to normal values

You have reduced your metformin from 2 x 2 500mg --> 2 x 500 because your fasting sugar dropped to 3,9

Please do the following

Make a spreadsheet with all your fasting blood sugar measurements and mark the day you started the VLCD

Also put in the spreadsheet your weight and circumfence measurement on a weekly basis

Make two graphs with this inforamtion

We need this data in the future to adjust the program

If you go to your doctor on the 15th ask him for the following blood tests

hsCRP if he can't do that CRP

ASAT ALAT GammaGT liver enzyms

Triglyceriden, HDL-c

B12, Vitamin D, Magnesium

Fasting insulin. This will be difficult, all laboratoria can do this in Th Netherlands, but he has to wright the request on the form, he can not tick a box for that

I want to see the results together with the used reference of the laboratory
